Deputies recover more than $20,000 worth of supplies stolen from Anderson County P.A.W.S.

More than $20,000 worth of veterinary supplies stolen from Anderson County P.A.W.S. animal shelter were recovered from a Chevy pickup Thursday. 


Inside the vehicle, deputies found a safe, P.A.W.S. credit cards, veterinary machines, a floor sweeper, digital camera, two microscopes, medication and pet food. 


Russell William Prady, 33, of Iva, was charged with receiving stolen goods. Body and car camera footage showed Prady with the truck and property inside the vehicle, according to the arrest warrant. 


The Anderson County Sheriff's Office is investigating the incident.
