Sheriff Chad McBride is a proven law enforcement leader with the experience we need to serve and protect all of the citizens of Anderson County. Chad understands that an effective Sheriff’s office operates efficiently and under budget. He has re-organized and implemented targeted strategies to better serve the needs of both the deputies and the public that he serves.
Chad was first elected in 2016. His leadership has drastically improved the safety of Anderson.

Authorized Representative may request absentee application on behalf of physically disabled voter by visiting the Board of Voter Registration and Elections Office or may submit request in writing

Absentee ballots are mailed approximately 45 days prior to each election. Friday before each election is the last day ballots can be mailed

In person absentee voting is available up to 5 pm on the Monday prior to each election

All voted ballots must be received by the Board of Voter Registration and Elections Office no later than 7 pm on election day to be counted
